Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in North America. The ultra-prominent 14,115-foot fourteener is located in Pike National Forest, 12 miles west of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. The town of Manitou Springs lies at its base.

The Pikes Peak Highway will require a reservation for visitors wishing to drive themselves to the summit from Memorial Day weekend until September 30th. If you do not have a reservation, you will still be able to drive to mile 16 of the 19 mile highway. Make reservations at drivepikespeak.com.
Please note you cannot leave a vehicle on the summit overnight. All vehicles must be completely off the mountain by close of business.

Guided Tours

If you don’t have your own vehicle or are not comfortable summiting Pikes Peak by yourself, try Adventures Out West Jeep Tours , Pikes Peak Tours by Gray Line shuttle tours or the Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway for a ride in style!
